CSCE Annual Dinner Meeting Program
The Calgary Section's annual program includes seven dinner meetings. We look forward to your participation in some or all of these.
Monthly Meeting Schedule:
* Note: The September meeting is actually a tour of an existing facility or construction site. Refer to the September link for more information on the location, date, and time for this meeting.
** Note: The Annual Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition is held at the October dinner meeting in addition to the regular dinner presentation.
*** Note: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held at the November dinner meeting in addition to the regular dinner presentation.
**** Note: The Annual Graduate Student Poster Contest is held at the February dinner meeting in addition to the regular dinner presentation.
Except for September, the monthly dinner meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at The Blackfoot Inn (5940 Blackfoot Trail SE, Calgary).
Unless noted, the meetings generally have the following format:
- 5:30 - 6:30 pm Cash bar and discussion
- 6:30 - 7:15 pm Dinner
- 7:15 - 8:15 pm Presentation
Ticket Prices for individual meetings (includes dinner) are as follows:
- Students - $15.00
- CSCE Members - $30.00
- Non-Members - $40.00
- Season Pass - $150.00
Season Tickets:
Season tickets to the seven dinner meetings will be sold at the September dinner meeting. The cost of a season ticket is less than the cost of attending all seven dinner meetings. Contact the organizing committee for more information. Season tickets are fully transferable, so if you are not able to attend a meeting, the ticket may be used by a colleague.
