Engineers who graduate from the University of Calgary belong to a distinct group -- individuals who understand the commitment to earning a degree in engineering and share the values of excellence, team work, creativity and community leadership that are imparted with that achievement.

To be a Schulich Engineer is an honour for graduates, and many maintain a relationship with the school to help cultivate the next generation of engineers through:

  • networking events such as sporting, cultural or reunion activities
  • advisory capacities in the Engineering Associates Program or other advisory groups
  • professional roles, employing third year students for a year through the Schulich School's award-winning internship program
  • subscribing to the magazine, the Schulich Engineer
  • donations for awards, scholarships or other gifts
  • leadership roles in the association
