Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition and Panel Discussion on Bridge Engineering
REGISTRATION CLOSED - Thank you to all those who registered.
We are now at Full Capacity for the venue.

POPSICLE STICK BRIDGE COMPETITION:
Open to Students and Industry. Contact Farnaz Sadegpour for more details: f.sadeghpour@ucalgary.ca

PANEL DISCUSSION ON BRIDGE ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION:
Despite Calgary’s land-locked location, the city showcases quite a few interesting bridges: the historic landmark Centre Street Bridge, incrementally-launched Stoney Trail Bridge, and most recently, the controversial but iconic Peace Bridge and now the unique St. Patrick’s bridge. What leads people to a career in bridge construction? Our panellists have all been involved in bridge projects, either in design or construction or both. During this forum, each panellist will elaborate on their career paths and why they chose to be involved in bridge construction.
Date(s): Nov. 27, 2012   Time: 5pm - Registration, 6:15pm - Dinner, 7pm - Presentation
Cost: Cost for Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition: $20 for Industry Entries (Society Member: $30, Student: $15, NonMember/Other Society: $40)
