Carolyn Anglin, Elena di Martino, Neil Duncan, Nigel Shrive, Gail Thornton, Richard Wan
Academics from the University of Calgary's faculties of engineering, kinesiology and medicine are collaborating on research projects in three major areas:
Biomechanics is the analysis of motion, muscle function, loads at joints and joint function
Biomaterials examines the architecture of tissues, tissue function and orthopaedic implants
Systems Physiology is the interaction of biochemistry, morphology, physiology and mechanics in disease progression and healing process.
