Engineering Machine Shop

ENGINEERING MACHINE SHOP
The Schulich School of Engineering’s machine shop is equipped to create custom technical lab and field environments for experiments and tests faculty-wide.

Specializing in the production and manufacture of prototype equipment used for research and teaching, the machine shop offers machining, fabrication, carpentry, painting, and consultation and design assistance.

The machine shop has been serving the engineering faculty since 1966.

Equipment and Services Include:

• Lathes, mills, grinders, drills, saws
• Waterjet machine centre
• CNC and manual machining
• Welding (portable and in shop)
• Sheetmetal
• Carpentry
• Painting
