The Gender and Diversity in Engineering Committee (GDEC) strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment that recognizes and values gender and other differences within the Schulich School of Engineering.
The GDEC coordinates events, seminars and initiatives with a gender and diversity focus to encourage men and women engineers to work collaboratively in order to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Committee members are actively involved in promoting awareness of women in engineering through participation in community and school events.
