Course Requirements for Each Degree Stream

In second year, each engineering student competes for a spot in one of seven degree programs. Note: In 2009/10, manufacturing engineering became a minor under the mechanical engineering degree program. Starting in 2011/12, computer engineering will become a minor under the electrical engineering degree program.
A degree requirements curriculum sheet reflects the courses required for each engineering program described in the University of Calgary undergraduate calendar. It displays the required courses and associated prerequisites by semester, and acts as an easy-to-follow roadmap of courses needed to complete an engineering degree program. The full four-year course requirements for each of the seven programs are linked below. Note: the University of Calgary undergraduate calendar is the main point of reference for all program requirements.
